Beach-inspired decor: how to crochet jewelry box/accessories cover! | easy&cute tutorial

Are you looking for ideas to decorate your jewelry box? Crocheting a sea-themed protective cover for your box will be incredibly fun! Your jewelry box will look more beautiful than ever. This sea-themed crochet cover includes elements like shells, corals, starfish, and seashells, all adorned with pearls to add a sparkling touch to your box.
This is the written pattern for my youtube tutorial. I highly recommend watching the video tutorial first for demonstrations so you can accurately follow the pattern. Also, please refer to the helpful timestamps on the youtube video if you’re confused about any part of the pattern!

1. Materials & tools
- Yarn: Yarnart jeans (55% cotton – 45% pac), 50g, (1.76 oz), 160 m (174 yds), one ball in colors 01, 74, 78, 83
- Baby cotton (50% Acrylic – 50% Cotton), 50 g, (1.73 oz), 165 m (179 yds), one ball in colors 400, 410
- Hook: 2.2mm, 2.5mm, 4mm crochet hook
- Needle
- Scissors
- Glue
- Pearls
- Pin marker

1.1 Pattern Notes
- Skill Level: Beginner.
- Written in UK terms.
- Size of jewelry box: length 10cm, width 10 cm, height 5 cm.
2.3 Terms & Abbreviations
- Sl St: Slip stitch.
- Sc: Single crochet.
- Inc: Increase
- Dc: Double crochet.
BLO: Back loop only.

2. Pattern use ideas
You can glue seashells onto clips and decorate them as you like, creating charming beach-themed clips for your seaside adventures.
3. Pattern
Part 1: Bottom of cover
Round 1: make a magic ring with 12 sc, 1 sl st to end row (total 12 stitch).
Round 2: chain 1, 1 sc, 1 sc, 3 sc into the same stitch (mark the center stitch), repeat 3 more times (total 20 stitch).
Round 3: chain 1, 1 sc into every stitch (mark the center stitch), 3 sc into the stitch marked (total 28 stitch).
Continue increasing rounds until you have the size you want for your cover.
*Work in continuous rounds and use a stitch marker to mark the center stitch of every round ALWAYS.
For my cover, I made 10 rounds (total 84 stitches).
BLO 1 slst to end round 10.
Part 2: Body of cover
Round 11: chain 1, BLO 10 sc, 1 dec into the 11&12th, 1 dec into the 13&14th,
1 sc from 15-31th, 1 dec into the 32&33th, 1 dec into the 34&35th
1 sc into every stitch, 1 dec into the 74&75th, 1 dec into the 76&77th (total 76 stitch)
Round 12: chain 1, 76 sc.
Repeat until you have the size of your cover.
Part 3: Scallop seashell
Make a slip knot with chain 6 (you can adjust the size you want for the scallop seashell).
Skip 1 chain, insert 1 sc into every stitch (total 5 sc), 1 sl st into the magic ring, turn, BLO 5 sc.
Chain 2, turn, skip the first chain, 1 sc into every stitch (total 6 sc), 1 sl st into the magic ring.
Turn your work, BLO 6 sc.
Chain 2, turn your work, skip the first chain, insert 1 sc into every stitch (total 7 sc), insert 1 sl st into the magic ring.
Turn your work, BLO 7 sc.
Chain 2, turn your work, skip the first chain, insert 1 sc into every stitch (total 8 sc), 1 sl st into the magic ring.
Turn your work, back loop only 8 sc.
Chain 1, turn your work, skip first chain, insert 1 sc into every stitch (total 8 sc), 1 sl st into the magic ring.
Turn your work, back loop only 7 sc (here we don’t crochet into the last chain).
Chain 1, turn your work, skip the first chain, insert 1 sc into every stitch (total 7 sc), 1 sl st into the magic ring.
Turn your work, back loop only 6 sc.
Chain 1, turn your work, skip first chain, insert 1 sc into every stitch (total 6 sc), 1 sl st into the magic ring.
Turn your work, back loop only 5 sc.
Chain 1, turn your work, skip first chain, insert 1 sc into every stitch (total 5 sc), insert 1 sl st into the magic ring.

Part 4: Starfish
Make a magic ring with 5 sc.
1 sl st into the first chain
Chain 6, skip 1 chain, insert 5 sc into every stitch.
1 sl st into the next stitch.
Chain 6, skip 1 chain, insert 5 sc into every stitch.
Repeat 3 more times.
Part 5: Seashell
Round 1: make a magic ring with 6 sc.
Round 2: BLO 2 hdc into each stitch.
Round 3: 1 dc, 2 hdc into the same stitch until the end round.
You can increase the rounds until you have the size you want.
Border of seashell
Chain 2, skip last chain, 1 sc into every stitch (31:19 in my video).
Part 6: Coral
Round1: make a magic ring with 10 sc (total 10 stitch).
Round2: 3 sc into every stitch (total 30 stitch).
Round3: don’t need to end r2, chain 2, 3 dc into every stitch (total 90 stitch).
Round4: connect the color yarn you like, chain 2, insert 3 dc into every stitch (270 stitch).
Insert 1 hdc, 1 sc, 1 sl st to end round 4.
